It’s been a few weeks since Gild launched a recruiting tool for hiring managers, sourcers, and recruiters. Since then, we’ve been busy refining the product, from the UI displays to search algorithms to profile content.
We’ve always believed that people should stand out on their merits, and that continues to be the philosophy behind Gild. Gild has and continues to operate a website for developers to prove their programming skills through coding puzzles and exams. At the center of that product is the belief that developers should be evaluated based on their skills, not just the school they went to or what connections they had. That philosophy is still strongly behind the recruiting tools we’re developing at Gild.
Using our sophisticated code evaluation technology that powered the coding puzzles that developers on Gild played in, we’ve built a tool that lets recruiters know who to hire based on an easy-to-understand breakdown of their skills and experience. We also add social intelligence to help recruiters connect with candidates and engage them more effectively. Our mission is to make finding and hiring talent go more smoothly, for both recruiters and candidates.
As of today, we’re rocking 85 beta users from large Fortune 500 companies to hot tech startups looking for the best developers.
