Steve Cadigan
Coach, Mentor, Advisor at Cadigan Ventures
Steve Cadigan is a seasoned talent executive with over 25 years of global human resources experience. Steve has practiced HR in the US, Canada and Asia-Pacific and has worked on dozens of complex acquisition integrations around the globe. Most recently, Steve served as a VP Talent at LinkedIn for close to 4 years and took the company from a private firm of 400 employees through an IPO and into the powerhouse that it is recognized as today with nearly 4,000 employees. Prior to LinkedIn, Steve served as VP of HR at Electronic Arts for 2 years, and immediately prior to that for 4 years was the Global VP of HR for PMC-Sierra, based in Vancouver, BC. Before working in Canada, Steve was with Cisco Systems for 6 years. Prior to Cisco, Steve served in HR roles at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company and ESPRIT. Steve has been repeatedly recognized for building world-class teams, cultures and organizations. He holds a BA in History from Wesleyan University and an MA in HROD from the University of San Francisco.
Austin Cooke
VP, Human Resources & Talent Acquisition at Vistaprint
As Vice President of Human Resources & Talent Acquisition, Austin Cooke is responsible for all aspects of Vistaprint’s efforts to attract, grow and retain the best talent in the e-commerce industry. Prior to Vistaprint, Austin was VP, Global Recruiting at Sapient, overseeing the company’s growth from 85 to over 4,500 people from 1994 to 2006. He currently serves on the advisory boards of the Human Capital Institute and Monster.com.
Jeff Diana
CPO at Atlassian
Jeff Diana is the Chief People Officer (CPO) at Atlassian, where he is responsible for the recruitment, growth, and development of Atlassian’s most important asset – its people – across its global presence, as well as for the growth and protection of Atlassian’s corporate culture. His previous HR experience includes serving as CPO at SuccessFactors, CHRO at Expedia, and CHRO at Safeco Insurance. Jeff holds a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Tufts University and Master’s degrees in Sociology and Human Resources Management from the University of South Carolina.
Zach Holman
Developer Advocate at Github
Zach works at GitHub. When he’s not doing that, he’s blogging, hacking on open source, and filming screencasts that are anything but “traditional” screencasts. He attracted national media fame and glory when he built Facelette, a ridiculous three-hour experiment, and lost all of it again after admitting he sometimes stays home on Friday nights and replies to support emails.
Eric Lane
VP, Global Talent Acquisition at Juniper Networks
Eric Lane is currently VP of Global Talent Acquisition at Juniper Networks. Eric previously was with Intuit for over 9 years in various executive roles leading HR Systems, Division HR, and Talent Acquisition. Before Intuit, Eric was a Vice President with Icarian, a web-based enterprise applications software company that delivered Workforce Resource Management tools. Eric came to Icarian from Silicon Graphics Inc. where he was Director of Worldwide Staffing and lead the definition and development of SGI’s mid ’90′s innovative Staffing intranet systems. Prior to SGI Eric also held key executive Human Resources positions with National Semiconductor Corp. and Advanced Micro Devices.
Amelia Merrill
VP, Talent Acquisition at RMS
Amelia Merrill is currently the head of talent acquisition at RMS. At RMS, she is developing a new employment branding strategy based on brand triangulation that will include a strong focus on social media and out-of-the-box ways to engage the RMS employee base and candidates. Prior to RMS, she was at Juniper Networks, WebMethods, and VeriSign. Her HR career has varied greatly from creation, development, and implementation of M&A and workforce reduction programs to HR business partner to talent acquisition leader.
Clement Mok
Brand and Design Guru. Apple, Studio Adjacency, Sapient, Sugarfish
Clement is an award winning designer, digital pioneer, software publisher, app developer, author, and design patent holder. Clement, a former creative director at Apple in the early 80’s, founded multiple successful design-related businesses: Studio Archetype, CMCD, and NetObjects. He was the Chief Creative Officer of Sapient, a Trustee of Art Center College of Design and the national president ofAIGA. Currently, he’s a founding partner of SUGARFISH and SameSurf as well as start-ups on a variety of design planning and user experience related projects. Mok, a 2008 AIGA Medalist, has been published internationally and has received hundreds of awards from professional organizations and publications including I.D. 40 most influential designers, and Chief Executive Magazine, which named him 1998’s Tech 100 CEOs. He also serves on the advisory boards of numerous start-ups, technology companies, colleges and non-profit organizations.
Tim Stanley
SVP, Enterprise Strategy and Innovation at Salesforce
Tim Stanley, SVP of Enterprise Strategy and Innovation at Salesforce.com, joined Gild’s Advisory Board to assist its mission of technically advancing the Human Resources industry. An award-winning innovator in the use of recruitment, hiring and human capital management tactics as a strategic business discipline, Tim has received multiple leadership accolades including: Information Week’s “Chief of the Year,” InfoWorld’s “Top 25 CTOs,” Interactive Week’s “Top 25 Unsung Heroes of the Internet,” the CIO magazine’s “100 Innovators Award.” Tim also currently serves as an adjunct Professor at the Merage School of Business at the University of California Irvine. Previous positions include Chief Innovation Officer, CIO/CTO and the Senior Vice President of Innovation, Gaming and Technology for Caesars / Harrah’s Entertainment, and various executive level roles with Intel, Kimberly Clark, jetBlue, National, USWeb/CKS, Optima/KPMG, and the US Air Force.
